Newmarket raider RAY MON DOUGH (3) ran a 2. 75L second in a Lingfield turf novice over this distance a month ago. Making handicap debut here. Likely improver. ROCK OPERA (6) put it all together for a course and distance success 19 days ago. No banker to back that up on past record but must be considered. RUSSET GOLD (2) is without a win in three years. Signs of promise this season though and no surprise if he's in the shake up.
