GOLDEN HORSE (3) has been gelded ahead of debut. Hails from an extremely good family while his trainer maintains a 21% strike-rate with runners at this track. Rates a likely danger to the top selection. HOPEFUL JOY (8) followed up encouraging debut fourth with a narrow second at Ripon (1m). Clearly going the right way. Significant improvement anticipated. THE NORTHERN LORD (6) is another interesting newcomer.
