SUGAR BEETS (2) is fitter for two runs back from a lay-off, progressing nicely last time to finish second, beaten 2.5 lengths, at Fresno (Dirt) over 1m. Has a win and three minor placings at this journey from six starts and should play a prominent role. BROTHER O' BRIEN (4) has been in good form, stringing wins together before placing twice in a row, most recently when third over 1m at Fresno (Dirt). Best figures measure up and is sure to run well.
