KERVETTE (1) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing eighth at Ascot and beaten 2. 25 lengths. Will drift back but wind up late. Best form puts her right in this. PONY UP (2) finished 3. 5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 7f at Pinjarra Scarpside three-and-a-half weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Leading contender. FINAL CALL (3) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 1m at Ascot, beaten 3. 5 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Has been in the money at each second up start. Taking on a better field but he is fitter and worth serious consideration. WHERE'S MY LUNCH (4) finished second two runs back at Geraldton then improved last time out to score by a nose over 7½f at Albany. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
