WOLFMAN (2) is a 11-start maiden who could only manage to finish fourth at his latest appearance over 7f at Ascot. This offers him a great chance of breaking through. ALABRAE (4) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start when he worked home well but found one better over 7½f at Pinjarra Scarpside, beaten only a head. Looks well placed so expect another big run. LONG WAIT (9) has been in great form with two placings in succession, most recently when beaten 4 lengths into third after she got a long way back in the run over 1m at Albany. Meets a stronger field but she is worth serious consideration. HELL'S CITI (1) again failed to feature last start, finishing eighth and beaten 3.5 lengths over 7½f at Pinjarra Scarpside. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Can feature in the finish.
