ANGEL UNDERCOVER (7) made considerable ground in the run home to finish third last start over 7f at Ascot. Should run very well. HOSTILE TALK (8) got the prize two runs ago at Ascot. Couldn't follow that up last time out when eighth over 7f at Ascot, beaten 4 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Likely improver with strong prospects. CAPTAIN PLUTO (2) is having his first run since October 19. Has never missed the top-three at the start of his campaigns, and he did win over 7f at Belmont Park at the start of last prep. Ran fifth in a trial at Pinjarra Scarpside over 5f recently. Makes plenty of appeal. PETROUCHKA (9) resumes. Didn't make an impact at her only run last prep on 30/11/2024, finishing fifth and beaten 4 lengths over 7f in the LR Jungle Dawn Classic at Ascot. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
