MAGIC BELLE (4) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on July 31 finishing eighth and beaten 6 lengths over 6f at Belmont Park. One of the genuine hopes in the race. WEAPONS HOT (1) was an effortless maiden winner last time out over 6f at York, scoring by 3.5 lengths. One of the likely contenders despite the step up in grade. BERRY BERRY GOOD (10) has a moderate winning strike-rate but did a good job when returning from a break last time at Narrogin, finishing second and only a nose from the winner at the end of 5f207yards. Can build on that solid recent effort.
