MR BLING (6) showed little early speed and was always well back last start when ninth, beaten 7 lengths, over this journey at Northam. Nicely placed to take this out. OCEAN RANGER (3) scored two starts ago at Pinjarra Scarpside then struggled against stiffer opposition last time when eighth over 1m3f in the LR Belmont Classic at Belmont Park, beaten 9 lengths. Can bounce back in this far more suitable contest. DRINKS ON ME (1) recorded his first win when resuming last start over 7f at Belmont Park, getting home by 1.1 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Re-unites with Steven Parnham who was on board last start. Harder task ahead this time but can measure up. WARRALEA LASS (8) failed to threaten when fresh from a lay-off last time out, beaten 10 lengths into seventh over 6f at Belmont Park. Solid contender in this line up.
