Nicely placed to feature in the finish. CHINA SPIRIT (5) finished second at Ascot two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 6f at Belmont Park, finishing 9 lengths back in 12th. Likely improver with strong prospects. KERMIT'S LUCK (9) tackled city class last start when ninth over 7f at Belmont Park. Should park just off the speed despite the draw. One to consider. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE (6) has not won for a long while. Last raced on June 2 when beaten 5 lengths into fourth at Bunbury over 6f after being up on the pace until straightening. Likely improver who should be thereabouts.
