CHAMPAGNE STREET (10) resumes from a lay-off of five-and-a-half months and looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 6f at Ascot. Ran seventh in a recent trial at Belmont Park. Rates on top and is a great chance to open the campaign with a win. VALCHIAVENNA (9) did little and finished 5 lengths from the winner in eighth over 6½f at Pinjarra Scarpside last start, a less impressive effort than her when resuming seventh at this track the run before. Nicely placed to take this out. SPECIAL STREET (3) was below his best last time when 13th over 6f at Ascot, beaten 7 lengths. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. ORTABEAROCKSTAR (8) failed to figure again last time over 6f at Ascot, beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth. Will find this easier than last start. Sure to be thereabouts.
