TRY HARDER (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 1m at Monmouth Park, beaten 10 lengths into seventh. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is up to the challenge. PALM ISLAND (1) is back at the races for the first time since May 7. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 6f at Monmouth Park. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. ELLIE'S BOYFRIEND (4) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second last time out over 6f at this track (Dirt). Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. BRONX BOYS (7) was a gutsy winner in a then finished second over 1m at this track (Dirt) on June 26. Record here is impressive with three wins from eight starts. Can sneak into the finish.
