SAMS AFTER PARTY (8) could only manage fourth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 6f at Parx, beaten 2.5 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Perfectly placed and is sure to be there at the finish. QUAMASH (6) showed good early muster and fought on to finish third last start over 1m at this track (Turf). Nicely placed to figure in the outcome. SHOWTIME MATINEE (9) drops back in trip after he was well held last time in seventh over 6f at this track (Dirt). Should be poised just off the lead. Will be in this for a long way. NORTHERN CARDINAL (1) returns after nine months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a sixth over 6f at Laurel (Dirt). Rates highly on best form and a bright return wouldn't surprise.
