BALLAD OF WARRIOR (1) is coming off a last-start fifth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 6f at Presque Isle Downs. Has a win and two minor placings from three starts at this track and distance. Looks to have an edge on most of these. PARTY AT SAM'S (4) is a genuine type with four minor placings from six starts this time in work. Continued the trend at the most recent appearance when third over 6f at this track (Dirt) after he was always up in the leading division. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. ROAN BURGUNDY (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6½f at Parx, beaten 9 lengths into fourth after being prominent at the bend. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. UNIFIED BY CANDY (3) dug deep to score two runs back then was beaten 11 lengths into third over 5f at this track (Dirt) last time seven weeks ago. Has a fine record here with three wins from six starts. Not to be discounted.
