PRETORIAN GOLD (1) was well in the market last time and made it two minor placings from as many runs this prep when 1.3 lengths away in third over 1m at Laurel (Turf). Great chance to break through. WOW WHATA PARTY (3) stuck on well last start to finish third over 1m1/2f at this track (Dirt) after showing good early speed. Ready to go a couple better. TACTICAL HUMOR (2) could only manage sixth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 6f at this track, beaten 7 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to take this out. KING MENDELSSOHN (9) finished fourth last start over 1m1/2f at Monmouth Park (Turf) after racing on the pace for much of the way. Solid top-three prospects.
