Could only manage to finish fourth last time out over 5½f at this track (Dirt) following a minor placing at this track (Dirt) over 6f the run prior. Won't get too many better chances to open his account. AMAZING BERNIE (4) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 3 lengths away in second over 1m1/2f at Laurel (Dirt) when he was handy all the way. Finds a perfect assignment and can find winning form. COVE BAY BOY (6) made progress last time out, finishing 5 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1m1/4f at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. CODY PASS (2) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he settled well back over 5½f at this track, beaten 16 lengths into fifth. This is a nice drop in grade so he is a major player.
