BEARING DOWN (9) got well back over 1m1/4f at this track (Dirt) last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 29 lengths away in fourth. Likely improver with strong prospects. SEPARATE WAYS (4) was well found in the betting last time out but could only manage to finish seventh over 5½f at Parx (Dirt) in a disappointing performance. Beautifully placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. WHISKEY ROW (7) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 6f at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. Better than recent efforts suggest.
