AMPERSAND (7) is a six-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Demelza Mcmahon barn. Finished off last campaign with a sixth at Laurel (Dirt) ten weeks ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but is in a nice race. Can make a winning return. REBEL RULER (2) finished sixth when resuming at this track two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m1/4f at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. TEXTPECTATION (1) has not won for a long while. Last raced on April 24 when beaten 16 lengths into fifth at Parx (Dirt) over 1m1/4f. Has the talent to produce a better result. SOUPER CATCH (4) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage fifth over 1m1/4f at this track (Dirt). Can sneak into the finish.
