ONCEINAWHILE (4) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6½f at this track, beaten 8 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Meeting a deeper field this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. GUS' TEN (6) turned in a strong run over this course and distance last time, settling well back then unleashing in the straight to get up for third. Should run on into the finish again. AUSSIE'S HEIR (7) returned last time with a solid third at this track (Dirt) over 6f after being in contention on the corner. Meeting a tougher field but he is one of the key runners. PHILLY STRONG (5) is a nicely bred three-year-old gelding lining up for the first time. By Wicked Strong from One Smart Philly who has produced some fine gallopers, including winners at black type level. Promising type who can make a positive start to his career.
