ESSENTIALLY FAST (1) was on the speed from the rails draw last start and battled on well to finish third over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing. THE TIRE MAN (7) finished out of the money two starts back then he was never in contention and was beaten 9 lengths when sixth in a 1m1/4f contest at this track two weeks ago. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. PASTERO (4) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 7 lengths when fifth over 6½f at this track five-and-a-half weeks ago. Dexter Haddock gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. TIZTIMONIAL (3) was well in commission last time out but could only manage to finish seventh over 1m1/4f at this track (Dirt) in a disappointing performance. Nicely placed to make amends.
