BACKSIDE BUZZ (1) made progress last time out, finishing 2. 25 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 6½f at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. MIDLANER (3) drifted back and never threatened when seventh last start over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. YOUNG SQUIRE (9) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on December 22, finishing fourth and beaten 9 lengths over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Has switched to the Bobbi Anne Hawthorne stable. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
