SOCIETY BALL (7) improved sharply on her fifth two starts back at Laurel (Dirt) with a win as favourite over 6f at this track (Dirt) two weeks ago, getting home by 0. 3 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Likely to be there at the finish again. ALWAYS LAUGHING (2) returns from a layoff of ten weeks. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 1m1/2f at Laurel. Sure to make her presence felt. AMBITIOUSLY PLACED (5) finished sixth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6½f at this track, beaten 4. 5 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. STASSI (1) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage fifth over 6f at this track (Dirt). Expecting improvement.
