Steps up a level but he is worth serious consideration. BERNIE'S MITTS (4) disappointed last time when seventh over 6½f in stakes class at this track (Dirt) after a close second at this track (Dirt) the run prior. Appeals back in trip this time so a bold showing is expected. ELECTRIC EEL (11) was in the firing line on the turn and progressed nicely last start to finish a close third over 5f at Monmouth Park after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. DR STEVE (1) was in the firing line on the corner and finished second last start over 6f at Penn National (Dirt), beaten 1.5 lengths. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance.
