AVATAL HERO (2) travelled in a rearwards position then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 12 lengths away in sixth last time out over 6½f at this track four weeks ago. Steps up in journey. Can play a big role. POPTHECHAMPAGNE RO (4) was beaten 5 lengths into fourth over 6f at Monmouth Park a week-and-a-half ago. Finds a nice race and can atone.
