HOTPOT (5) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 6½f at this track, beaten 5 lengths. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Likely improver with strong prospects. FAST BOB (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6½f at this track, beaten 6 lengths into sixth. The engagement of Francisco Martinez is a positive move. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
