I CAN DO MAGIC (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6½f at this track, beaten 6 lengths into fourth after being in contention on the turn. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. CHINESEIAM (4) went forward last start over 6½f at this track (Dirt) and held on well for second, beaten 4 lengths. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. FACE THE FACTS (5) drifted back when resuming last start over 5½f at Monmouth Park (Turf) and failed to threaten, beaten 14 lengths into seventh. Can do much better. SMOKEY PLACES (6) got the prize two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when fifth over 6½f at this track, beaten 13 lengths. Worth plenty of thought.
