Expected to be in the finish. SMOOTH B (10) raced on the speed when resuming last start and battled on well but found one better over 5½f at Laurel (Dirt). Can improve enough to win this. NINETYPRCENTMADDIE (2) turned in a strong run when resuming over this course and distance last time, settling well back then unleashing in the straight to get up for third. Good record at this journey with two wins and two minor placings from five starts and is one of the prime contenders. HOUGHTON SHUFFLE (6) was in the firing line on the corner and finished second last time over 6f at this track (Dirt) when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 0.3 lengths. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders.
