AFTERBERNA (8) finished second, beaten a head, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at this track after she did her best work late. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing. OYSTER LANE (6) returned from a lay-off three-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 3 lengths into seventh over 5f136yards at Geelong. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he cannot be taken lightly. STUNTMAN (7) is a well-related three-year-old gelding lining up for the first time. By Circus Maximus from Viviane who has produced some fine gallopers, including winners at black type level. Coming along well at the trials with a win at his most recent at Flemington. A product of the strong juvenile stable of Tony & Calvin Mcevoy. Ready to run well despite a tricky stall. PLUNGER (4) is a gelding by Ace High out of Chez Harmony who is at the races for the first time. Showed ability in a recent trial win at Cranbourne. Worth watching for a betting move.
