STAR ANGEL (9) pushed forward from a wide draw last start and kept going to win by 1.75 lengths over 7f at this track. Sure to take some stopping again. NIC'S CHOICE (6) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 3 lengths into fifth over 6f at Cranbourne. The engagement of Daniel Stackhouse is a positive move. Finds an easier assignment and can find winning form. OUR COUVER (1) has missed the frame at his last couple of outings, the latest when 8 lengths back in 15th at Flemington. Easier assignment this time and should do much better.
