POP'S PIPE (7) made considerable ground in the run home to finish third last start over 7f at this track. Form at this course and distance is solid. Sure to feature again. MARLION'S DREAM (4) was in the money two starts back at this track but couldn't back it up last time when ninth, beaten 4.5 lengths, at Bendigo over 7½f. Jamie Mott gets the best out of this seven-year-old gelding. This doesn't look as hard so he is likely to play a big role. HAPPY LINK (8) finished 3 lengths from the winner in fifth last start over 7f at this track, an improvement on her seventh at Caulfield the run before. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. RICH LOVER (5) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 7f at this track. Record at this track is strong. Cannot be underestimated.
