PROSHOW (7) kept coming but just failed to pick up the winner when when resuming last start over 7f at this track. Will take a lot from that hitout. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. WILLIE SUNSHINE (17) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 7f at Geelong, beaten 4.5 lengths. Beautifully placed and is sure to be there at the finish. CUBAN DAWN (1) has filled a minor placing on three occasions in 10 starts. Failed to add to the tally last time out when fourth over 1m at Echuca. Has a good record at this distance with two top-three results from four starts. Tackling tougher opposition but is capable of featuring. PHOENICIAN (5) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Likely to hold the form and is a strong top-three prospect.
