Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. MELIDESH (4) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 5f at Mornington. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. APPOINTED (1) saluted two runs ago then turned in a nice run last time out when fourth over 5f at Caulfield Heath, beaten 2.5 lengths. Nicely placed to figure in the finish.
