THE CUNNING FOX (3) is showing some sound recent flat form. Missed the placings in a then raced just off the pace to wind-up second at Geelong over 1m4 1/4f last start. Well-placed to take this out. AFFLUENTIAL (2) is looking to improve on a last-start fifth on the flat over 1m4f at Sandown-Lakeside on April 9. Partnered again by Will Gordon who is building a great record when aboard. Sure to make his presence felt. STERN IDOL (1) resumed after a 228-day lay-off last start with a respectable third on the flat at Sandown-Hillside over 1m7f, beaten 0.7 lengths. Reliable jumper with 10 wins and one minor placings from 20 starts over the obstacles. Decent chance again in this line-up. RIGHT NOW (5) hasn't been seen for eight months. Ran an improved last time finishing third in a hurdle (2m1/4f) at Ballarat, beaten 7 lengths. Looks hard to fault this line-up.
