TIFFANY VALENTINE (7) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing fourth at Sandown-Lakeside and beaten 3 lengths. Meets easier opposition this time. Will be hard to stop. CHARTWELL HOUSE (1) finished out of the money but was not too far away when resuming last start over 6½f at Bendigo. Usually performs well with that run under his belt. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Will prove tough to beat. WRITTEN ROYALTY (3) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by 1.75 lengths over 5½f at Bendigo. Will be better for that latest run and can go on with it. OVER BOOST (4) was going okay prior to finishing 5.5 lengths back in eighth last start over 5f at Mornington. Today's rider Jamie Mott has a decent record aboard this six-year-old gelding so he can do much better.
