SEAFIELD ROAD (1) led into the straight last start over 7f at this track on soft going but could not sustain the pressure and finished ninth. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. Among the leading chances. SAINT LAZARE (5) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten a nose, over 7f at this track. Goes well at this trip, recording three minor placings and is right in this. AND SHE WAS (11) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6f at Sale, beaten a head after being in contention on the turn. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is one of the key runners. Well placed to make amends.
