Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. BRILLIANT MAN (7) was well supported when resuming last time out over 1m1/2f at this track (Dirt) and proved too strong, scoring by 1. 5 lengths. Open to plenty of improvement and is expected to feature in the finish. SHEPHERD (6) is progressing well this campaign. Opened with a fifth at Fairgrounds (Dirt) two starts back then landed the prize by 1. 3 lengths last time out after being in the firing line on the bend over 1m1/4f at Fairgrounds (Dirt). Must raise the bar but another win beckons. LEAR (2) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 1m1/2f at this track (Dirt), finishing second and beaten 1. 75 lengths. Well placed and should be about the money.
