FIRST PLAYER (2) should be at his peak after three runs this prep, the latest a second over 1m at Churchill Downs (Dirt) three weeks ago. This looks a nice assignment. DETERMINEDLY (7) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 1m1/2f at Woodbine, beaten 7 lengths. Has been in the money at each second up start. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. FIREBALL BIRDIE (9) was prominent at the bend and finished third last time over 1m at Churchill Downs (Dirt) when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect another bold run.
