BERTIE'S CAUSE (5) returned to winning form second up last start, scoring by 1.3 lengths over 6f at this track (Dirt). Has scope for improvement so she looks very hard to beat. TRAFALGAR SHORE (12) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 0.9 lengths when fourth in a 6½f contest at Churchill Downs seven-and-a-half weeks ago. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. CHARMONTE (10) is a distance specialist who improved sharply on her fourth two starts back at Remington Park (Dirt) with success as favourite over 6f at Remington Park (Dirt) six-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 0.3 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she can go back-to-back. PROUD MULE (7) was last at the races when she finished sixth over 6f at Delaware Park (Dirt) on September 12. Has to be respected.
