BRIGHT LEAF (8) returns from a lay-off of ten weeks and did win when resuming last time in work over 1m at Santa Anita (Dirt). Key runner while fresh. GILDED CRAKEN (4) was comfortably accounted for when third last time out over 1m4f at Churchill Downs, beaten 7 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. That followed a win at Keeneland at the previous outing. Perfectly placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. WELAKA (9) is close to breaking through after three consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 1m1/2f at Fairgrounds (Dirt). Generally takes a sit but the draw makes it tricky. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. MANDOLIN WIND (10) was prominent at the corner and finished second last time over 1m at Remington Park (Dirt), beaten 4.5 lengths. Steps up a level but he is up to the task.
