COLONEL BARTON (5) turned in a fine effort to win by 5 lengths at this track and distance last start in a much improved run. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat again in this suitable race. CHOCTAW ZIP (12) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished second at this track (Dirt) two starts back then got the job done by 0.3 lengths as public elect last time out over 6f at this track (Dirt). Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. SHAKE UP (13) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 6f at this track, beaten 5.5 lengths into sixth. Has the class to take care of this field. ALLO ENRY (8) ran a better race last start, finishing 4 lengths away in fourth over 6f at this track. Nicely placed to find some form.
