THORNY (5) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound third over 1m at this track (Dirt). Beautifully placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. VALERIE BLUE (7) is ready to win after she just missed last time, beaten 0.1 lengths into second over 1m1/2f at this track (Dirt) after being in contention all the way. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is capable of testing her rivals. PEPPERS GIRLFRIEND (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she was never in contention over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten 29 lengths into tenth. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. AUNT ALEX (8) finished third last time over 6f at Fairgrounds (Dirt), beaten 4.5 lengths. Meets a stronger field but she is good enough to take this out.
