COPPER BULLET (1) made progress last start when he made late ground to finish second over 6f at Balaklava. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. HERE COMES HOGAN (7) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just two wins from 24 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when sixth over 6f at Streaky Bay, beaten 9 lengths. Goes up a rung or two but he is up to the task. ECLAIR VITALITY (2) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0. 9 lengths from the winner in third over 5¼f at Balaklava. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. WADAANA (11) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5¼f at this track, beaten 7 lengths into seventh. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
