BY THE BOOK (3) turned in a strong run two starts ago at Balaklava then failed to back it up over 1m1f at Morphettville last time, beaten 1. 4 lengths into fifth. Kept fresh since that last run so can atone. LIMBERING (6) raced in the leading division and kept going to score by a long neck last time out over 7f32yards at Naracoorte. Finds a tougher race but another big run is on the cards. MAGIC PRINCESS (7) started at 15/2 last time on the back of a win at Balaklava two starts ago but was below her best, finishing fifth over 7f at Morphettville Parks after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds a nice race and can make amends. BROWN NOSE DAY GAL (2) has not won for a long while. Last raced on December 20 when beaten 8 lengths into tenth at Murray Bridge over 7f after being handy for much of the way. Can break the run of outs.
