ANGEL CITY (6) was too good for a maiden field last start over 7½f at Goulburn, scoring by 2. 25 lengths. Re-unites with Pierre Boudvillain who was on board last start. Serious contender again with the confidence high. TIMELESS GRACE (10) hit the frame two starts ago at Wagga but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 4 lengths over 1m at Canberra. Finds a tougher race but a big run is on the cards. THE STARS ALIGN (5) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 1m at Canberra, beaten 3. 5 lengths into fifth. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within his grasp. STRAIGHT FIRE (1) ran below expectations last time at Dubbo, finishing fifth and beaten 5 lengths. Well placed to atone.
