WILD SENSATION (9) turned in an encouraging run when resuming, settling well back then winding up nicely to finish fourth over 5¾f at Beaumont (Newcastle). Well placed and the one to beat. KNIGHT OF RHODES (12) gave away a big start and never came on when resuming last start, finishing sixth and beaten 5 lengths over 6f at Kembla Grange. Has the ability to take this out. ACHESON (4) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3 lengths when sixth in a 6f contest at Canberra three-and-a-half weeks ago after being in contention on the bend. Finds a nice race and can get the job done. HELLO JACK (6) fought on for second last start over 7f at this track, beaten a nose to add to some fine recent form. Likely improver with strong prospects.
