WAVERLEY ROAD (4) finished second, beaten a nose, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Wyong after he was in contention on the turn. Has the talent to get the prize. OVER THE LIMIT (3) was in the money at this track when resuming two runs back then could only manage fifth at Kembla Grange over 5f three-and-a-half weeks ago. Has a high cruising speed. Not far off a win and rates highly on his best form. CHEEKY SORT (6) resumes from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish sixth at the latest run over 5f at Queanbeyan. Tuned up with a seventh in a recent trial at Rosehill. Rates highly on best figures and should be right in this. SPACE CADET (9) is a three-year-old filly on debut by Farnan from Space Trip who has been a prolific producer including winners at black type level. At her most recent trial was out of the placings at Rosehill. Promising type who looks set to play a big role.
