LA NINA (5) recorded her first win last start over 6f at this track, getting home by 0. 8 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Re-unites with Louise Day who was on board last start. No reason she cannot get the job done again. BAYCAT (3) has returned in good order this campaign. Collected her maiden win when resuming at Canberra then backed it up with a solid third over 6f at Bathurst at the latest outing. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Will give a great sight. DEE DEE EXPRESS (4) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by 0. 9 lengths over 5½f at Goulburn. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Shaping up nicely and she is one of the main chances. CIAO BELLA MIA (7) broke her maiden last start over 5½f at Bathurst, scoring by a neck. Adrian Layt was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. This is tougher but she cannot be underestimated.
