ARTIFACTX (8) settled towards the tail when resuming last start then wound up strongly to finish 3.5 lengths away in second over 6f at this track. Strong finish expected again here. ACHESON (7) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 0.8 lengths when fourth over 1m at Canberra two-and-a-half weeks ago after being in contention on the bend. Meets a stronger field but he is up to the task. OFF SHAW (1) showed good early dash and led for most of the way before fading to finish 0.8 lengths away in fourth over 5½f at Goulburn. Deserves respect.
