Likely improver with strong prospects. RUSSIAN ASSASSIN (3) filled a minor placing when fresh from a lay-off two starts ago. Could not back that up last time when 2.75 lengths away in eighth over 5f at Hawkesbury. One of the chances based on his best recent efforts. ARTIEBETT (4) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at Hawkesbury, beaten 2.25 lengths. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
