PARTHENOPE (4) led all the way to score as favourite on debut over 6f at Goulburn three-and-a-half weeks ago. Sure to improve and can make it back-to-back wins. PRINCE PAPA (5) was a winner over 6½f at Bathurst last time out, dropping out early before coming home with a powerful run to score by 0.8 lengths. Will prove tough to hold out again. TRIANON (7) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing fourth and only 2 lengths from the winner at the end of 7f. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. SAPPHIRES SON (6) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by a nose over 6f at Canberra. Well placed to feature in the finish again.
