VELVET GOLDMINE (4) was only just denied tackling a fillies event at Bath (5½f) last month. Makes handicap debut sporting a first time hood with a top jockey booked. Plenty of reasons to be positive. COME ON OVER (5) belatedly got off the mark attempting a 6f handicap at Doncaster last time ahead of a subsequent winner. Going well at present so could produce a stern challenge. COYY (3) has been holding his form well since scoring at Windsor in May (1m2f). Top contender to be considered.
